Robbery Suspect Arrested

On Saturday 6th December, Clementswood PCSOs were conducting an ASB event on Albert Road & Ilford Lane when they were flagged down by a distressed male who had just been a victim of robbery; the male informed police that he had been assaulted & threatened with a bladed article. 

Clementswood & Loxford Safer-Neighbourhood Teams worked together in apprehending and arresting the individual involved by taking an immediate proactive approach. Positive identification was made and the suspect was arrested shortly after the incident by being taken into police custody.

The investigation is now being progressed by CID and the robbery team.
